maximalism

i'm thankful for the rise of maximalism in recent years.

first, it's fun to look at: interiors, websites, and especially fashion.
there's so much to appreciate.

second, it reassured that i'm a minimalist indeed, through and through.
maybe some of it is innate, maybe some it is learned, maybe some of it is generational.

regardless of the reason, it definitely wasn't a trend.
and it feels nice to find something that's truly me.
